Data Privacy / DP Coordinator (f/m) (SS)

Currently our customer is looking for a (Data Privacy / DP Coordinator (f/m) in Vienna. You will be responsible for a hands-on support of the respective countries’ administration of its to-be-registered IT applications. This task involves contacts with numerous colleagues in the respective countries internationally but will potentially also require you to establish contacts with DP law offices in certain countries.

What are my tasks and responsibilities?

  • Acting as trusted advisor of the country and Hub management on all DP-related topics
  • Proactively creating awareness for, anticipating and mitigating DP risks in the respective countries
  • Ensuring implementation of DP-relevant guidelines and regulations if necessary
  • Acting as a first point of contact to the Headquarter DP Officer, safeguarding Group DP principles whenever necessary
  • Ensuring proper handling of the respective DP registers (momentarily “CDP-Center”) on ARE level, including practical work in the tool itself
  • Conducting DP Trainings.Supporting audits and the answering of data inquiries (Art. 15 of GDPR / right of access by the data subject), if necessary
   
     

What skills do I need to qualify for this position?

  • Degree in business administration, engineering or law or compareable combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years in an international compan (perferred from Siemens in a legal function)
  • Ideally good knowledge of the GDPR
  • Excellent English language skills, another language is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate efficiently
  • Prepared to travel to other Countries (eg. Russia) if needed
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and team work skills, ability to be a trusted partner of the management
   
     

 

What else should I know?
Depending on education and experience an annual gross salary of at least EUR 43.400,00 is offered (this increases the minimum agreed collective salary). The final total income will be agreed in an individual meeting.
